Four ways I work with business owners. Start wherever your books are.
-

this is most of what I do

Diagnostic Reviews
A thoughtful review of your QuickBooks file to identify areas that may need attention and give you a better understanding of the current condition of your books.
Usually includes
- A read of your QuickBooks Online file as it stands
- What is right, what needs attention, and what it would take to fix
- A written summary you can act on with or without me
Who it is for
An owner who is not sure what state the books are in and wants to know before deciding anything.
a good first step
-
Catch-Up
Behind on your bookkeeping? Catch-up services bring past months up to date so you have current financial information to work from moving forward.
Usually includes
- Past months entered and reconciled
- Missing statements chased down
- A clean starting point for monthly work
Who it is for
A business that fell behind and wants to be current again.
no judgement, just months
-
Clean-Up
When the books are current but something isn't quite right, clean-up services address errors, inconsistencies, and other issues affecting the accuracy of your financial records.
Usually includes
- Errors and duplicates corrected
- Miscategorized transactions fixed
- Balances tied to statements
- A note on what caused it so it stays fixed
Who it is for
Books that are current but do not add up.
current, but not right
Most monthly engagements fall between $300 to $500 a month and up, depending on the number of accounts, transaction volume and the condition of the books. Catch-up, clean-up and the diagnostic review are quoted by scope, before any work begins. Typical figures, confirmed on your first call.
